Some facts regarding the great pyramid of Giza, taken from John Zajac's informative site, The Great Pyramid:
- Thirty times larger than the Empire State Building, the Pyramid's features are so large they can be seen from the Moon.
- Its base covers 13.6 acres (equal to seven midtown Manhatten city blocks), each side being greater than five acres in area.
- A highway lane eight feet wide and four inches thick could be built from San Francisco to New York and put inside the Great Pyramid.
- The oldest structure in existence, having been started 4,617 years ago, it is the sole remnant of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Why build the great pyramid? The theories are extensive, but Judy Beebe's The Great Mystery of the Pyramid Through your Body says:
... the pyramids were the tombs of pharaohs and others of importance within the Egyptian culture. These have all been elaborately decorated with hieroglyphic text and beautiful works of art. However, the GREAT PYRAMID has no hieroglyphic text within the chambers and no mummies or burial objects were ever found there.
The reason for this, as intuitively guessed by many others before me, is that this was the INITIATION TEMPLE. This is the temple where GOD writes the text on the individual soul that is being initiated into the TRUTH OF LIFE and back into their reconnected circular configuration. Within these great chambers GOD/RA does the writing, thus no hieroglyphic text is needed.
