I began my career as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, earning certifications in AEA (Aqua), SAFE (Aerobic), ESA (Personal Trainer), ESA (Step), and AFAA (Personal Trainer), along with CPR and First Aid. I am a Continuing Education Provider for AEA, AFAA, NATABOC. (National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Creditation) and AHNA (American Holistic Nurses Association).
Through fitness studies I became aware of the body as a fabulous working machine. When I became ill, the only thing I received from conventional doctors (besides the bill) was a pill. But the pill didn't cure me or put an end to the illness and that wasn't good enough for me. Wasn't a doctor supposed to subscribe special diets, exercises, give hope? My search for answers began. And the answers did come, one by one. And they are still coming...
I
began to work with Herbs, Reflexology, and pursued an N.D.
(Naturopathic Doctor) license.
I am currently board certified with the ANMA (American Naturopathic Medicine
Association). I followed this with studies in QiGong and Polarity Energy, added
Chakra and Aura Cleansing
and Balancing techniques and finally found the answer to spiritual growth and development
that I was looking for - Reiki.
I have been a Reiki Master for over two years now, teaching students the joys and gifts of a Reiki practice. It has accelerated my growth immensely. Time and time again my students share with me their Reiki stories of self awareness and personal growth.
I want to share this love of Reiki with the world. I am a Continuing Education Provider for the American Holistic Nurses Association. Knowledge of Reiki will bless not only the healers, but their patients and clients as well. It is a gift that is meant to be shared.
The
Reiki Center of Venice is dedicated to bringing you information regarding Reiki and other
Alternative Healing techniques, and offer a line of products that supports
these modalities. We will offer classes in many Alternative
Therapies for people who are interested in learning more about how to care for themselves and their families.
It has helped me and my family and I am blessed to be able to share this
knowledge with others. There is so much being planned right now -- I will be
offering taped workshops so that you can follow along in the comfort of your own
home. This is an exciting time for alternative therapies and practitioners
alike.
